Project Management
Course Description
The goal of this class is to prepare students for basic management tasks they will encounter both in their studies and in entry level positions in creative fields. I introduce students to scheduling and budgeting, as well as software and organizational systems in use at various creative agencies and studios. Students discover what it means to organize and support a team of creative artists, from the details in the day-to-day to the large scale planning from year-to-year. The class examines the value of soft skills in management and provide training on how to work with various types of people.
